Mandalas

I created the MANDALAS series of acrylic paintings in 2023, when I was 94 years old. A mandala is a symbol of the universe in its ideal form. It signifies the transformation of a world of suffering into one of joy. The series was created in preparation for my plan to express the chaos in our world through a juxtaposition of mandalas and Arabic texts. The series was created by the use of the ancient art of stenciling.
